We are excited to announce that Bobbie Jo Stanton, will now be accepting horses for training and giving lessons. Bobbie Jo has many years of showing and training experience and has finally decided to share her talents with the public. She has trained World champions, Congress Finalists, Multiple AQHA award winners, including superior earners and AQHA Champions, APHA World Show Finalists. Whether your a beginner to horses, or an advanced rider, she can help build your skills, and expand your knowledge, and help you become a great team with your horse. Specialties include; Youth and Amateur All Around, Showmanship, Hunter Under Saddle, Equitation, Western Pleasure, Horsemanship, Western Riding, Trail, and Hunter Hack.
Training starts at $650/mo. and includes 1 lesson per week
Day Fees are $25 per day for clients with horses in training
$35 per day for clients who do not have horses in training
Mileage will be based on current fuel price (will be a minimum of 55 cents per mile)
(show fees, mileage, camping/hotel, food, and day fees, veterinary work, farrier work, and supplements are additional.to the $650 per mo.)
Bobbie Jo is a firm believer in quality not quanity, so only accepts a limited number of horses for training to assure that she can give each of them the time they deserve! Legacy Quarter Horses, LLC. is family owned and opperated, with additonal help from long time friend and boarder Katie Mras who assists in helping Bobbie Jo break and get our young ones started and ready to sell and show. Horses at LQH are well cared for, and horses in for training get turnout time daily. Bobbie Jo specializes not only in Novice, Youth, and Amateur All Around but Hunter Under Saddle , Western Pleasure, and Futurity Horses.
The barn is updated and maintained by Ron Stanton and Chad Tietz. They spend a great deal of their free time after work keeping the barn in good repair, and remodeling/updating the front part of the barn into the new show barn. After the completion of our front remodel we will be back up to our normal 18 stalls.
